Casablanca

Pick up at the hotel, you will visit the city of Casablanca with a brief tour of this commercial capital and the largest port in Morocco, visit the Hassan II Mosque before leaving for Rabat.
We continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, we can visit the medina (ancient city), with its stone and whitewashed buildings that have large doors, dark wood with nails, the Hassan Tower, whose intricate stonework dominates the horizon, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V that houses the onyx tomb of the late king and the Michouar embankments that surround the Royal Palace. After the visit to Rabat, we will move to Meknes where we will stay in a hotel / Riad.
After breakfast we will explore Meknes, including Hdim Square, Bab Mansour, the huge gateway to the old city to this 17th-century City and the Jewish quarter, the Royal Poster and the city walls. We leave for Volubilis, the Roman ruins and Moulay Idriss, a sacred city, the best archaeological site in Morocco with mosaics. In the afternoon we will arrive in Fez. Accommodation in Riad.
We will make a guided visit to Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities, founded in 790 AD. C. We will visit the medieval medina, the famous souks. also, its narrow cobbled streets and the Karaouiyne Mosque, whose central nave is adorned with flowers and elaborate cúfic writing carved in plaster.
Don’t miss Islamic universities, including Abou Anania and Attarine, which enjoys the exterior and interior decoration of the glow and crafts. Also see the Nejjarine fountain of colored tiles. After breakfast we leave for Merzouga through the middle Atlas. you will pass by Ifrane, the “Switzerland” of Morocco and the cedar forests of Azrou where we will stop and where we can feed the monkeys. We will continue to Midelt and stop for lunch. We will follow the Ziz River and make a stop to see the Ziz Gorge on the Merzouga road. Dinner and hotel accommodation at the foot of the dunes, where you can take a dip in the pool.
Today we will explore the desert area, the wonder that are the dunes of Erg Chebbi. with our driver, you will make a circuit in the desert dunes, you will have the opportunity to see how nomads live and the contrasts that exist in the desert. Next, we will visit the town of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians. We will take a tour of the dunes, where you will have the opportunity to see the lifestyle of the nomads and the amazing contrasts of the desert.
following, will eat a traditional Berber pizza for lunch at our neighbors’ family camp before in the desert.
In the afternoon we will go for a camel ride to watch the sunset from the dunes and spend a night in the desert camp. Taking the traditional mint tea, we will listen to Berber music while you can contemplate the stars and the moon in the impressive Sahara desert, have dinner at the camp in Jaimas and dance to the rhythm of the drums.
We will wake up before dawn to experience the magic of a desert sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga and see the stunning sunset before returning to the hotel for breakfast and showers.
We will visit the market of Rissani, old Sijilmassa, supply center of the old caravans of the Sahara.
Later, we will head north towards Erfoud which is famous for fossils; Here we can visit a fossil workshop before proceeding with the impressive Todra Valley, known for rock climbing, where you can walk before you drive to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
We will enjoy dinner and spend the night in a hotel in the area.
Breakfast at the hotel, to begin our journey on the route of the Thousand Kasbahs, since they are colossal Kasbahs on both sides of the street. After breakfast, we will begin our trip with a visit to the studios located in Ouarzazate. it is the Hollywood of Africa. Later, we will visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, it was named a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1987. It has been used as the setting for more than 20 films such as “Gladiator”, “Indiana Jones” and “Lawrence of Arabia”. Enjoy a walk to investigate the universal Moroccan style of construction where the models are built with the Kasbahs. We will go to Marrakech through the high mountains of the Atlas and Tizi n’Tichka, we will stop for lunch in the center of the Atlas Mountains.

After breakfast we spend full day excursion to visit Marrakech. The stories tell that the city was inhabited by a tribe on the other side of the Atlas, with large amounts of dates, and bones, born from a palm. Called “the red city” due to the color of its walls and full of gardens, watered by underground wells (khettaras), which were built by the Almoravids and Saharan nomads in the 11th century. We will visit Menara, the Kasbah, the Saadi Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia, the Majorelle gardens and souks, are some of the unavoidable visits. A unique experience will be to discover the “Djemaa El Fna” square, where the life and activity of the city is concentrated: dancers, storytellers, jugglers, artisans, merchants and snake charmers.
We stayed in Marrakech overnight in Hotel / local Riad.
We will have the morning free to go shopping in the souk and relax in Marrakech before transfering you to Casablanca airport, depending on your flight time. Your 10 Days from Casablanca Imperial Cities will end in airport.
