    Itinerary

    Day 1Tangier – Tetuan – Chefchaouen

    Upon arrival in Tangier, we’ll collect you from the city’s port or airport. Our journey to Chefchaouen includes a stop in Tetuán, known as the Spanish city. By afternoon, we’ll arrive in the picturesque blue city, renowned for its blue and white painted houses, making it a gem in the Rif Mountains. You’ll have free time to explore Chefchaouen’s narrow streets and old houses. Accommodation awaits at a hotel in Chefchaouen Square.

    Day 2Chefchouen- Volubilis- Meknes- Fez :

    Post breakfast, we proceed to the Volubilis archaeological site to explore renowned Roman ruins. Next, we head to Meknes, delving into its intriguing monuments within the imperial city. By afternoon, we reach Fez, a significant imperial city and Morocco’s religious and cultural nucleus. Accommodation for the night at a Riad or hotel

    Day 3Discover Fes with a local guid:

    This day will be very cultural, a whole day dedicated to the discovery of the intellectual city with an official guide. He will show you the most interesting places, such as: Visit the Golden Gates of the Royal Palace, the wall that encloses an impressive and ancient medina, will be toured Walking to feel the spiritual beauty. We will also discover mosques and madrasas, caravansarais, and religious places until it flows into the village of Tanners where we can appreciate this artisan work. After lunch, you will tour the artisan’s neighborhood. The overnight in your accommodation.

    Day 4Fez- Ifrane- Midelt- Merzourga:

    After breakfast, our journey from Fez to the Merzouga desert commences via the Middle Atlas mountains. A pause in Ifrane, often dubbed the “Switzerland of Africa,” precedes our next stop at the old cedar forest in Azrou, home to the Atlas monkeys. Midelt serves as our lunch spot, an important Atlas town before traversing the Tizi N Talghemt, rising to 1,907 meters—a stark yet breathtaking high-mountain landscape.

    The terrain transitions through the Tafilalet massif, guiding us down the Ziz valley, and offering stunning palm grove vistas as we approach Erfoud, known as “the door of the desert.”

    Our journey presses forward toward the magnificent dunes of Erg Chebbi, adjacent to Merzouga, where your camel awaits. Camel-riding allows us to witness a breathtaking sunset as we venture into the desert. Nightfall presents a unique experience as we reside in a desert camp akin to the Berbers, offering music and a mesmerizing star-lit sky. Dinner and overnight stay await at the camp.

    Day 5 Merzouga-Erg Chebbi – Merzouga:

    After waking up early and watching the sunrise in the desert, we will have breakfast and travel one of the routes used in the “Paris-Dakar Rally”, visiting desert nomads with whom we can taste delicious tea. There we will see the Oasis where some films such as “Sahara” and “Aladdin” were recorded among others. We will visit the village of “the blacks”, named for the slave trade they brought from Sudan.
    We will have time to relax in our hotel, take a dip in the pool, or climb the dunes and see a sunset again. Dinner and overnight at a hotel at the foot of the dunes.

    Day 6Merzouga- Todra Gorges- Dades Valley- Ouarzazate:

    After breakfast, depart to Risani, old Sijilmassa, the supply center for the old caravans of the Sahara. We continue traveling through a semi-desert landscape, we reach the oasis of Tinghir- one of the most beautiful places in Morocco. Next, we pass the Todra River, impressive gorges to reach more than 300 m. We visit the town, and we take the road of thousand Kasbahs to Ouarzazate, to reach one of the most important cities in southern Morocco, known for its intense activity and cinematography, having its films credited as Gladiator, Troy, the Mummy, etc., and Visit the Kasbah of Taurirt. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

    Day 7Ourzazate- Ait Ben Haddou- High Atlas- Marrakech:

    After breakfast, we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a true jewel of the region, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO where multiple films have been recorded such as “Lawrence” “ Babel ”and“ Gladiator ”. Then, we will go to Marrakech over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N´Tichka Pass. Along the way, we will observe Berber villages and farms. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon, you can see the magical evening of this city. Hotel/riad accommodation

    Day 8Guided tour in Marrakech:

    After breakfast, we spent a full day excursion to discover Marrakech. The stories tell that the city was inhabited by a tribe on the other side of the Atlas, with large amounts of dates, and bones, born from a palm. Called “the red city” due to the color of its walls and full of gardens, watered by underground wells (khettaras), which were built by the Almoravids and Saharan nomads in the 11th century.

    We will visit Menara, the Kasbahs, the Saadi Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia, the Majorelle gardens and souks, and most of the unavoidable visiting places. A unique experience will be to discover the “Djemaa El Fna” square, where the life and activity of the city are concentrated: dancers, storytellers, jugglers, artisans, merchants, and snake charmers. We will stay in Marrakech overnight in the local Riad.

    Day 9Excursion to Essaouira- Marrakech

    We will leave early after breakfast at 8 a.m. We will go to Essaouira, a perfect city for adventurers. We will observe their factories where wood is worked, Argan oil cooperatives, and carpets. We will visit the women’s cooperative. There they will show us how they make Argan oil. Upon arriving in the city, we will visit the incredible Medina of Essaouira, where we will also pass through the port. You can enjoy a lunch of fresh grilled fish in the typical restaurants of the port. In the afternoon we will return to Marrakech, then overnight in Riad.

    Day 10Marrakech – Airport

    In the morning and depending on the time of your flight, transfer to Marrakech airport. End of the circuit
