Marrakech / Marrakech

Pick-up from your Riad or airport, today we will make half-day excursion to the impressive Ourika valley to see the traditional Berber villages. Afternoon will be free to visit the city of Marrakech.
Accommodation in Riad or hotel.
After breakfast in your Riad, you will be accompanied with your private guide to enjoy historical and cultural interest sites, including the Koutoubia Minaret; the Saadian tombs; the beautiful Palace of Bahia and the Ben Youssef Coranic School. Finally, end the morning by walking through the medina alleys -getting a chance to admire all of the different artisans performing their crafts before arriving at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square. Lunch at a restaurant near the square, and then in the afternoon visit the gardens at Majorelle and have a short tour at Gueliz -the new city of Marrakech. After dinner you will have the option to walk through the square entertained by magicians, story-tellers, tooth-pullers and food sellers.
Overnight accommodation in your Riad.
Today we will pick you up at the riad to leave for Casablanca, our first stop , where we will have a guided tour of “the economic capital of Morocco”, and the largest city of Morocco. we will be able to explore some places in the city as the biggest Mosque Hassan II, United Nations Palace and the Coastal Seaside “Corniche”. After lunch we head to Rabat, where we will visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah des Oudaias.

Today we will leave early after breakfast, our first stop will be Volubilis, the largest and the best preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. then , We will visit Meknes, the third imperial city, which was founded at the end of the 17th Century by Moulay Ismail and is known as “the Moroccan Versailles”. Highlights will include Bab Mansour, Hari Souani and the old medina. From there, we will drive to Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities.

Today it will be a full guided tour of Fez. We will visit the Medersa Bou Inania, the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss and the Andalusian Quaraoiyin and mosques. We will visit the Nejjarine Plaza Museum of the 18th century fountain. Fez Medina is a maze of more than 9000 small narrow cobbled streets, and is a modern world of Fez.

Today we will go southeast, we will stop in Ifrane, the City of the Lion before continuing in the Middle Atlas with the cedar forests of Azrou, crossing the Middle Atlas and stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks, then we continue towards merzouga in the road we will stop in a panoramic views to see the a huge oasis of palm tree before arriving to Merzouga desert. there, we will find the camelman waiting to carry you across the sandy dunes of the erg-chebbi. You will enjoy the beauty of the sunset on camel, after 1 hour you will reach the desert camp to spend night in the camp. At your desert shelter, your camels are hobbled and mint tea is served. After a wonderful dinner, you will enjoy berber music under the stary sky.

After Delicious Breakfast and fresh shower, you will ride your camel back to Merzouga village. where your driver will be wating for you to leave for Dades. We will continiue our journey through the vast rural areas, see the impressive panorama as it has changed again. we will visit the impressive Todra Gorges before continuing to the Dades Valley and Gorges.
Dinner and accommodation in Dades.
After breakfast, a walk through the Dades Gorges is scheduled before continuing to Ouarzazate, going off the road along the Boutaghrar track and to Mraou Village to visit Berber nomads in their caves and have a glass of herbal tea with them. From there we continue through the Valley of the Roses, famous for its annual Festival of the Roses from May 20 to 25, and going through the Kasbahs of Amridil in Skoura Palm. then, continue towards Ouarzazate through the great lake of El Mansour Edahbi.
Dinner and night in a traditional Riad
After breakfast, enjoy the green landscapes towards Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara and now famous in Hollywood in the desert, due to the number of famous films that have been made. We will drive along the Ounila valley to visit kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, along the old caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech in present-day Morocco. After that, we will continue to Marrakech passing through Tizi n’Tichka pass ( 2260 m over the sea) and then down to Marrakech in the afternoon.
