Day 1: Ouarzazate – Todra Skoura-Gorges Oasis- Valley of the Roses – Dades – Erfoud – Merzouga

We will leave early in the morning accompanied by your guide to the desert, we travel along the route of “the Thousand Kasbahs” until we reach the imposing Todra Gorges, paradise for climbers. We walk surrounded by large rocks on the banks of the Todra River.

You can also admire the Oasis of Skoura which is an Oasis with a large palm grove still inhabited, you can admire the beautiful Kasbahs among the palm trees, we will also pass through the Valley of the Roses. We continue to the city of Erfoud to see some fossil quarries of great antiquity. Erfoud is known as the cradle of the Alauita dynasty. You will also visit the Dades Gorges, located in the Moroccan High Atlas.

We will pass through the city of Rissani before reaching Merzouga, a city located in the Sahara desert, late in the afternoon we reach the huge dunes of Erg Chebbi, Merzouga. In the afternoon, mounted on the dromedary we will get into the desert where we will spend the night in a Berber tent, we will see a sunset from the immense dune. Before sleeping, the Berbers will play drums for us under a starry sky.

Day 2: Merzouga -Rissani – Tazarine – Draa Valley- Ouarzazate

If there is something that nobody can miss is to enjoy a sunrise in the desert, so this day we will wake up early. After contemplating this moment we will take the camels to approach a hotel where we can take a shower and have breakfast.

Then we will take the return car to Ouarzazate where we will appreciate a different route. Passing the Palm Grove of Tafilalet and the town of Rissani (capital of the Alawish Sultans) we will reach Tazarine (an important Berber town) and N’kob (a small town). Finally, we will reach the Draa Valley and its amazing palm grove. In the afternoon we will cross the Anti Atlas through the Tizi n Tnifift port (1660 meters) towards Ouarzazate. And end of our ser.
